Most of u have heard the verdict concerning my right foot. Surgery next wednesday. Out for the rest of the year, from tournament golf. Thats that. First 10years of my pro career has been pretty much problem free and this year has been a bit difficult to say the least:) I think next 10years will be good again!
There is some positives in it as well. I have plenty of time to prepare my self for 2012. Time is on my side. I get full medical for european tour, I'll be last man end of category 8 next year, thats good! I wont get in to few asian events but that wont matter. Most important thing is that I'll get my right foot back in play, 100%!! Lets hope the doc gives me some footages from the surgery for free use, then u get to see what they did with it:) Basically they removing a piece of bone from my ankle. Simple a that!
Its been awhile since I've been home in Finland this time of the year. Its midsummer week. Everybody is in sort holiday mode and its officially ok to get wasted. Me and my friends are kicking off this midsummer with a little bit of golf today, midnight golf tournament. Friday and saturday will be lot of food and few relaxing drinks at the summerhouse. Of course world famous games like Mölkky and Croket are in the schedule. Sauna 100degrees all the time.
Thats the plan for next few days. Monday off to Gothenburg to see Mr. Edfors&Co, we'll play little SWE-FIN match there on monday. I'll tell you more about it after midsommar... Mikko
